Love Can Be A Crazy Thing

LOS ANGELES, CA – How falling (in)(out) of love can change your life and why it’s the worst.
Let’s just say the person that you’ve been lusting over, let them remain as a crush. And that everything that glitters is in fact not gold.
I fell in love with someone who wasn’t good for me. And I’ve never regretted much in life but I always regret that. Not necessarily wanting to take my love back but not leaving when the relationship didn’t serve me anymore.
Falling in love can only have two possible outcomes: it ends or it doesn’t. When it ends it feels like your heart is literally breaking and that you may never get over it. Which can put a halt on what’s going on in your life because now you have to heal. Boring.
Or it may work out but now you have to think for two and it also puts a halt on what you’ve got going on. I’m not in the business of that I grew up as an only child.
I found “the love of my life” at the beginning of my graduate program and that was just about the worst time I could have gotten into a relationship. I was always worried about us and how to hold our relationship together. Good job self.
My whole fall semester went down the drain. I know I could have gotten so much done and I’d be so much further if it weren’t for him being in my way. I guess I have to take some accountability too? Fine. I was in my own way also.
